Hey everyone, David “Vain Ziler” Roy here bringing you the latest FinalSmash news!
So, one of the questions a lot of people have been asking as of late is “Where have you guys been?” and that’s a fair questions to ask. Simply put, Adrian and I have been going through a lot in our personal lives, both good and bad, which have kind of kept us from the site. My family has had a few members going through some health problems, as well as I’ve been dealing with some stupid drama with some ex-friends that has been rather tedious to deal with. On the bright side, I’ve also been promoted at work, which I am now going into training for my next position. Adrian has had his computer crash (the biggest cause of our slow down) but it’s fixed and he is now employed and moving (causing more slow down from him). So yeah, our personal lives have been kinda hectic. But, we have been working (and slowly releasing) content for you guys.
As you may have noticed over the last few days, we’ve been tossing up reviews and podcasts that we’ve had on the back burner for awhile now, and in fact have a rather big back log of content to toss up. The podcasts in particular each have 1 to 2 episodes already recorded and are just awaiting the final editing touches to toss on the site. So please, bare with us as we both finish up our catch up work, as well as our current site work load.
Speaking of which, we are still hiring for positions on the sites, and not just for gaming. If you are interested in tackling reviews/news/editorials on games, anime, movies, music, technology, anything that’s part of geek culture, please let us know. We are working on expanding the site in several directions, but need the staff to do it. So if you’re interested, send us an e-mail and we’ll get back to you.
A - Top notch and stellar. This game accomplished everything that it set out to do and then some.
B - Great! A game worthy of a B means it is a requirement for any gamer to get. Only slight set backs seem to hit a game like this.
C - Games that get a C rating are good. They may not be great. They may not be fantastic. They are fun, interesting, and worthy of a play-through.
D - Average. Sometimes games play it too safe, sometimes they don't step out of their bubble, and sometimes they have too many problems. But they are playable and you may still find fun. Those games deserve a D.
F - Don't play this. The game failed in what it was trying to do. It's not fun and it's not compelling. The game may or may not be playable, regardless, if it has an F, it's probably safe to say you shouldn't play it.
